While Russian troops are fulfilling their occupant government orders in Ukraine, March brings the first dividend of the year. But let’s start by taking a look at the portfolio first.

I started buying Baltic stocks just when the market rebounded from what the fear of Covid-19 caused. And honestly, this was the first major market fluctuation I experienced in my 3 years of investing experience. The fear of war is a very serious concern in the minds of people in the Baltic countries. And the market usually represents our sentiment. And sometimes even causes more fear.

But the market rebounded. And it did it quite quickly.
The portfolio
The turbulence aside, and straight to the update…

The portfolio consists of 61 companies. And as you can see, I intend to increase it to 62. Although I sometimes think it’s over-diversified and I should reduce the number of companies, but then I choose to stay with the “passive” way and just leave it as it is – since the intention was to create my own Baltic index. If I will ever become more competent, the structure might change…
The 5 biggest positions
As you can see in the Portfolio structure table, they’re sorted in descending order, starting with the biggest position. And they are as follows:
- Virsi A AS – the Latvian service station chain – 440 euros, 13.94% of portfolio
- Ignitis Grupe – the Lithuanian utility company – 419.76 euros, 13.30% of portfolio
- Enefit Green – the Estonian utility company – 255.27 euros, 8.09% of portfolio
- Telia Lietuva AB – the Lithuanian communication services company – 225.12 euros, 7.13% of portfolio
- LHV Pank – the Estonian bank – 207.25 euros, 6.57% of portfolio
The rest of the positions take less than 5% of the portfolio.
Summary
In March, whopping 0.11 euros were received in dividends from Arco Vara, which increased my cash balance to 0.22 euros. Nothing was paid in the account and nothing was bought or sold.

Technically, my position in Arco Vara should be decreased by 73%, down to just 3 shares. But I already decreased it by half in the end of 2021, when I finished creating the Excel sheet I am currently using to manage the portfolio. And I think I’ll keep the position as it is.
Let’s see what April is going to bring us.
